Pediatric radiology
Diagnostics aimed at quick assessment of a child's bones and internal organs.
Radiology is one of the most common diagnostic methods in pediatrics. It can be used to detect fractures, inflammatory processes, spinal curvature, and other pathologies. The procedure is suitable for newborns if indicated.
The study is quick, painless, and effective. It provides real-time imaging and immediate assessment of the respiratory system, bone system, gastrointestinal tract, and other structures.
Benefits
Patient comfort
Our staff will help manage your child's anxiety.
Accurate imaging
Advanced technology makes it possible to see the smallest abnormalities.
Minimal radiation exposure
Digital equipment ensures safe radiation levels.
Rapid diagnostics
X-ray takes only a few minutes.
Preparation
Most studies don't require any preparation. For an abdominal X-ray, avoid gas-forming products 2-3 days before the procedure, and limit food intake the day before. Your healthcare provider will prepare you in advance.
Procedure
A child is placed on a special table, depending on the area that needs to be checked. A diagnostician will help the child get into the right position and put on a protective apron to minimize radiation exposure. The imaging takes a few seconds, and sometimes multiple projections are taken simultaneously to improve visibility. It is important that the child does not move during the examination.
Results
The images are processed immediately after the procedure and sent for interpretation. Parents receive a transcribed report and any necessary treatment recommendations or specialist referrals.
