Appointment
During the consultation, a pediatrician assesses the child's complaints, disease progression, and medical history. This is followed by a thorough examination using advanced equipment. It involves checking the throat, nasal passages, and ears, as well as assessing mucous membrane health, the presence of inflammation, swelling, or other changes. Checkup might include otoscopy (ear examination) and rhinoscopy (nose examination). In case any further clarification is required, additional diagnostic procedures, such as X-rays of the sinuses, swabs, or cultures, may be recommended.
