Otoplasty preparation
During the initial consultation, the plastic surgeon will ascertain the patient's goals and answer all questions about otoplasty in detail. The surgeon discusses the preparation, surgery and rehabilitation, and also discusses with the patient the area and extent of ear correction. Prior to otoplasty, general tests and, optionally, a cardiogram are prescribed. Chronic diseases, allergies to medications, and pregnancy are identified.
