Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
A diagnostic method that is used to visualize internal organs, tissues, and body systems. The procedure allows you to obtain detailed images of organs without the use of X-rays.

MRI allows you to obtain high-quality images of organs and tissues in various planes, which makes it indispensable for the diagnosis of diseases that are difficult to detect using other methods.
The method is especially useful in the examination of the brain and spinal cord, as it allows you to identify developmental abnormalities, neoplasms, strokes and multiple sclerosis. MRI is also effectively used to diagnose diseases of the joints, spine, abdominal organs and pelvis. The procedure can be performed using a contrast agent that improves the visibility of blood vessels and tissues, especially in the detection of tumors and vascular pathologies.
Do not eat 4-6 hours before the examination if a contrast agent is used. Notify the doctor about the presence of metal implants, pacemakers, prostheses and other objects that may affect the operation of the tomograph. Remove all metal jewelry and accessories before the procedure.
The patient is placed on a moving tomograph table, which then moves inside the magnetic tunnel of the device. In the process of research, a magnetic field is created that affects hydrogen atoms in the tissues of the body, causing their response in the form of electromagnetic signals. These signals are captured by sensors and processed by a computer, which converts them into detailed images of organs and tissues. On average, the procedure lasts from 20 to 60 minutes, depending on the area under study. The patient must remain motionless in order to obtain clear and accurate images.
Philips SP Ingenia Ambition S is used for MRI in our clinic. It provides excellent visualization quality and high data acquisition speed. It allows you to visualize the smallest details and anomalies in the structure of organs. A wide tunnel and comfortable conditions for patients. Noise reduction technology makes the procedure more comfortable.
MRI does not require restoration. After the procedure, the patient can immediately return to normal life. If the study was conducted with contrast, it is recommended to drink more liquid to quickly remove the contrast agent from the body.
Benefits

Computed tomography (CT)
A diagnostic method based on obtaining layered images of the studied area using X-ray radiation. It allows you to get detailed images of internal organs, bones and soft tissues.
Densitometry
A diagnostic method that allows you to measure bone density and detect osteoporosis in the early stages. The study helps to assess the risk of fractures, determine the level of calcium and the overall structure of bones.
X-ray
A diagnostic method that is used to examine bones, internal organs, and other body structures. X-rays allow you to get an image of internal organs and tissues in different projections.
