Treatment of silent sinus syndrome
A condition in which the walls of the maxillary sinus are deformed, which causes a decrease in the volume of one or more paranasal sinuses without obvious symptoms of inflammation.
The syndrome can lead to aesthetic and functional disorders, such as retraction of the area under the eye or difficulty in nasal breathing.
Before starting treatment, a diagnosis is performed, including a CT scan of the sinuses, as well as an endoscopic examination of the nasal passages. This allows you to accurately determine the degree of change in the volume of the sinuses and develop an individual treatment plan.
