The idea of creating the club belongs to Maxim E. Sautin, head of the Center for Hand Surgery and Microsurgery. Thanks to his initiative and experience, participants have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of modern research, learn how to analyze scientific articles and develop professional skills in a supportive environment.
The topic of the last meeting was the instability of the wrist joint. We have analyzed how fractures of the bones of the wrist and the distal metaepiphysis of the radius can affect the development of instability, and delved into the bone anatomy. The participants discussed the errors in the publications and shared their conclusions.
At our meetings, no one is afraid to speak or ask questions. Instead of criticism, participants receive helpful advice, and instead of condemnation, they receive support. Young specialists learn to present their thoughts, prove hypotheses and find flaws in research, and our experienced doctors from the Center for Hand Surgery and Microsurgery help them.
The Magazine Club will meet once a month to continue its educational work and help young professionals develop their analytical skills. Follow our announcements!
