Emergency and planned care
Our ENT department handles both planned and emergency cases. We are ready to help patients with any pathology of ENT organs, whether it is sudden bleeding, removal of a foreign body or complex reconstructive surgery.
Experience, solidarity, professionalism
Pavel Dmitrievich Pryanikov, one of the country's leading laryngeal surgeons, heads the ENT service. He specializes in reconstructive operations on the larynx and trachea, as well as performs septoplasty, endoscopic operations of the paranasal sinuses, tonsillectomy and other interventions.
The head of the department is Elena Nikolaevna Pugacheva, an expert in pediatric rhinosinus surgery, a specialist in operations for "silent sinus syndrome" and removal of polyps. She successfully treats not only children, but also adults.
Our team consists of doctors with extensive experience working together in emergency hospitals and elective surgery. They not only help patients, but also participate in the development of the medical community.: They speak at international and Russian congresses, conduct master classes and share their experience with colleagues. At Olympus Clinics MARS, they have teamed up to create a department where every patient will feel protected. Our team is ready to perform up to 1,500 operations per year.
New generation operations
The operating unit is equipped with advanced equipment:
- Olympus 4K Endoscopic stand with NBI mode — provides detailed visualization, allowing the surgeon to accurately perform operations.
- The microdebrider (shaver) is the latest tool for removing adenoids. It gently shaves off the adenoid tissue and cauterizes the vessels, eliminating the risk of relapses.
- Coblator II cold plasma surgery devices provide a gentle effect on tissues and effective stop of bleeding.
- The ARC TRUBLUE surgical laser is used for minimally traumatic interventions, ensuring precision and rapid recovery.
Our department performs more than 30 types of operations on ENT organs, including interventions on the nose (septoplasty, adenoid removal, vasotomy), pharynx (tonsillectomy, tonsillotomy) and ear (endoscopic tympanoplasty — restoration of the eardrum). Each intervention is performed under the supervision of a video endoscopy.
