Before taking these drugs, a thorough examination is necessary to exclude contraindications. In severe cases, systemic glucocorticosteroids may be prescribed, but only in a hospital setting. Additional methods that can alleviate symptoms and speed up skin recovery: Phototherapy is a physiotherapy procedure in which ultraviolet rays of a certain spectrum are directed at plaques; Creams from the line of pharmacy cosmetics — for moisturizing the skin; Local analogues of vitamins A and D are used to reduce inflammation, accelerate exfoliation, and slow the growth of plaques.
