Atrial fibrillation
Atrial fibrillation is a heart rhythm disorder in which the atria contract erratically. It can lead to a decrease in the efficiency of the heart, an increased risk of blood clots and the development of strokes.
With age, the prevalence of MA increases several times. People over 65 years of age and patients with diseases of the cardiovascular, endocrine, and respiratory systems are at risk.

Symptoms:
The main symptom is an irregular rapid or rare heartbeat. It can be accompanied by:
shortness of breath;
sweating;
a sharp drop in HELL;
severe fatigue;
a feeling of panic, fear;
frequent urination;
restless sleep, insomnia;
dizziness, loss of consciousness;
feeling of lack of air, suffocation;
angina pectoris is a pressing pain in the heart area, behind the sternum. The pain may radiate to the lower jaw, neck, left arm, and epigastric region.

Surgical treatment:
It includes radiofrequency catheter ablation (RF), chest ablation, "Labyrinth" surgery, suturing of the left auricle and installation of a pacemaker in extreme cases.
Conservative treatment:
Antiarrhythmic drugs, including beta blockers, to control heart rate and reduce the frequency of seizures. Anticoagulants are prescribed to prevent thrombosis and reduce the risk of strokes. Modern oral anticoagulants or warfarin are used (with strict coagulation control). To restore the rhythm, a medical or electrical cardioversion is performed.
