Acne
Acne is a chronic inflammatory skin disease associated with hyperproduction of sebum, an increase in the size and blockage of the sebaceous glands. The reason is also the proliferation of Cuti bacterium acnes, whose waste products cause inflammation.
This skin condition often occurs in adolescence, but may continue or appear in adulthood, significantly affecting the psychological state of the patient.
Symptoms:
Acne (comedones): Black dots (open comedones) and white dots (closed comedones).
Papules: Small inflamed bumps.
Pustules: Papules with purulent contents.
Cysts: Deep inflamed formations that can leave scars.
Post-acne: Hyperpigmentation and scarring after inflammation.
Effects:
Scars and pigmentation: If acne is not treated, persistent scars and age spots on the skin may remain.
Reasons:
Genetic predisposition: Heredity also plays a role in the development of acne.
Hormonal changes: An increase in androgen levels stimulates the sebaceous glands and leads to excessive sebum secretion.
Poor nutrition: Eating fatty, sweet and mostly processed foods can worsen skin problems.

Treatment
The basis of therapy is the use of external and/or systemic medications prescribed by a doctor. For faster relief of the inflammatory process, hardware and injection techniques can be used. For example: photodynamic therapy and BBL phototherapy in forever clear mode (antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, regenerating effects), exposure to a neodymium laser on a Fotona device (anti-inflammatory effect), plasma therapy, salicylic or azelaine peeling. Hardware and injection techniques are indispensable in post-acne correction.
